Just So

Just So is an annual creative festival, held each year on Rode Hall Estate in Cheshire and tailored specifically for children and their families. Showcasing some of the finest art, music, literature, comedy and theatre pieces available specifically to them; Just So has been described as an unparalleled outdoor adventure, this year featuring themes related to codes & ciphers; detectives & disguises and mysteries & mayhem.

There will also be plenty of activities geared specifically to younger members of your family, including a dedicated baby pool and ballet classes for little ones. Plus there will be incredible performers and workshops such as those featured on the Footlights Stage like Skinny Lister who just completed a US tour, Hope & Social and other tuneful acts offering live entertainment throughout the event.

Families will have an opportunity to develop their musical talents through workshops in ukelele and samba drumming as well as learning some of their favourite songs by singing-along. There will also be lantern making activities, meeting real mermaids at a pirate ship and digging for hidden treasure in a sandpit!

Rowan Cannon, director of Wild Rumpus who specialize in producing immersive large scale family arts events in natural landscapes, created Just So Festival as a magical weekend where children and their parents could come together and appreciate outdoor art together. Held annually on Rode Hall Estate with beautiful woodland clearings, rolling parkland and arboreal amphitheatres as its backdrop, the festival attracts both artists and attendees from far and wide.

Trentham Gardens

Trentham Gardens has long been known as an amazing venue for tribute acts; but this year marks an exciting transition into premium festival experience! Each evening takes place against the breathtaking lakeside amphitheatre and provides something for all music enthusiasts; from ABBA reunions to club classics there’s sure to be something there for every music fan in attendance – plus tickets are available to meet budget constraints for an enjoyable concert experience! Don’t miss it – tickets available across age groups make it hard not to attend!

On Saturday night, Scouting for Girls kicked off the festivities with an energetic performance. McFly was up next, captivating audiences with infectious energy as their hit singles One for the Radio and Lies had everyone jumping and singing along in unison. Rock and roll band Feeder then closed out this weekend in style by performing Just A Day; its doo-doo’s sent shivers through audiences’ spines!

The event was an unqualified success, garnering rave reviews online. This is testament to how expertly the organisers managed their offering and put on an amazing show. The venue was perfectly placed so that every attendee had an unobstructed view of the stage while food offerings included something for every palate and drinks were also plentiful and friendly bar staff made for an enjoyable event overall.

The festival forms part of an expansive calendar of events at the 725 acre estate and will run over five weekends during July. Other features of note include yoga classes, theatre performances and an opportunity to visit ZooLab or join a wildlife cruise around Lake Macnaghten.

Forest Live

Forest Live concerts combine music and the outdoors while creating lifelong memories with your friends in one memorable concert experience. Held annually at some of England’s most picturesque forest locations, Forest Live features performances by international artists including Sting, Anne-Marie Becky Hill Bryan Adams Nile Rodgers & Chic plus many others.

Forest Live concerts offer more than just music performances in the woods; they’re an unforgettable immersive experience that spans multiple stages in the forest. Activities abound here, from art installations and silent discos to hammock sets and food vendors – with music that spans genres to suit everyone.

Forestry England organizes this festival to provide access to outdoor activities that make use of its woodlands in England, including walks and other pursuits that provide visitors with enjoyment of both people and wildlife. Proceeds from ticket sales help this charitable organisation sustainably care for our nation’s forests so people may enjoy them and wildlife can flourish.

This year marks the festival’s 20th anniversary and it features over 80 artists. Their lineup combines electronic dance music with genres that span beyond dance music to ensure something for all attendees.

Forest Live will feature iconic throwback artists, like Sister Sledge and Danny Rampling, alongside newer acts, including multi-platinum-selling Anne-Marie and UK sibling duo The Corrs. Additionally, Forest Live 2018 will debut a brand-new light trail created by award-winning team behind Christmas at Kew Gardens and Bedgebury Gardens; for the first time this light trail will be showcased at Westonbirt Arboretum.

Alsager Music Festival

Alsager Music Festival, held annually since 1988, provides an enjoyable musical experience at no cost. There’s something for everyone here from mainstage performances of various musical styles to intimate sunken garden performances by musicians & artists – run entirely by volunteers who use any proceeds raised for charity or the next festival!

Since 2009, Alsager Music Festival has provided young people with summer entertainment and opportunities to perform at a music festival. Organised by a collective of local musicians, music enthusiasts, Alsager Round Table members, Alsager Partnership partners and Scout members – it remains free for those attending while any donations collected go directly towards charities or the next year’s festival!

This year’s lineup promises to offer some of the top bands and artists from around the area, whether classic rock, dance music or hip hop is your genre of choice, this festival has something for you! Plus there is an interactive zone, real ale bar serving real ales as well as merchandise stalls serving food for every palate and drinks for sale as well as craft stalls and children’s activities!

This festival will take place this Saturday and Sunday at Milton Park, Alsager. With ample parking options like Fairview Car Park and Station Road which both have over 250 spaces available each, as well as numerous buses that stop nearby and a taxi service for those without their own transport a taxi service will also be provided.

Wolseley Bridge Music Festival

No matter where or when it’s played, music has the power to uplift our spirits and awaken our senses. Some of Britain’s top musicians can be found performing at major festivals that celebrate rock, dance and folk music; whether Glastonbury in Somerset’s lush countryside is more your speed or London’s Bush Hall is better for finding new artists, there is sure to be one that fits.

British Summer Time in Hyde Park of London, Camp Bestival across two sites in Dorset and Shropshire, and Latitude Festival in Suffolk all provide world-renowned headliners like Elton John as well as many up-and-coming artists like rising stars; yet smaller events offer more intimate experiences as well.

Staffordshire boasts several music festivals that showcase both local and national talent, like Wolseley Bridge Music Festival which boasts an eclectic lineup of bands and artists while providing a family friendly environment.

The main stage at the festival will feature hot and cold food for visitors, along with a bar serving alcohol. Catering services will be provided by The Post House of Stafford and Boutique Events; sweet treats will be made available by Sprinkles Mobile Caterers of Stafford who specialize in waffles and crepes; furnished gazebos large enough for six people will also be made available as VIP treatment areas.

At Cannock Chase Festival there will be plenty of off-stage entertainment, from hot air balloon flights to visiting Cannock Chase itself. Additionally, craft and gift stalls will offer souvenirs.
