We offer six separate sleeping areas—five luxurious bedrooms in the main house and a unique, self-contained detached annexe—ensuring plenty of space, comfort, and privacy for everyone in your group.

We understand that travelling with little ones requires planning, so we provide the following complimentary items upon request:
Infant Equipment: A travel cot and a high chair are available. Please request these at the time of booking.
Entertainment: The dedicated Games Room (with its Nintendo Switch, darts, and convertible pool/table tennis table) provides a perfect space for children and teens.
Outdoor Space: Our large, enclosed garden and nearby access to woods and parks ensure plenty of outdoor fun and space to run around.
The safety of our guests is our top priority. Acorn Lodge is equipped with a comprehensive system to ensure a secure and worry-free stay for your large group:
Fire Safety System: We have interlinked mains-powered smoke and heat detectors throughout the property. If one alarm is triggered, they all sound, providing maximum warning for all guests.
Carbon Monoxide (CO) Monitoring: For safety around the appliances and log burner, CO2 monitors are installed in key areas.
Emergency Egress: All external doors are fitted with thumb-turn locks (no key required for exit), allowing for quick and easy escape in an emergency. In addition, all ground and first-floor windows are designed to serve as clear emergency escape routes.
First Aid & Equipment: A clearly marked first-aid kit and fire safety equipment (extinguishers and fire blankets) are readily accessible.
Our standard check-in time is 4:00 PM, and standard check-out time is 10:00 AM. This allows our team the necessary time to prepare the lodge to our high luxury standard.
Early Check-in or Late Check-out
We are happy to offer early check-in and late check-out options for your group free of charge, but only when available.
Availability is never guaranteed and depends entirely on the schedule of the bookings immediately before and after your stay.
How to Request: To inquire about availability, please contact us at least 48 hours before your arrival. We will confirm if we can accommodate your request based on our cleaning schedule.
