An abundance of Anglo-Saxon gold weapons, helmet decorations and coins was recently unearthed from a field in Staffordshire by amateur metal detectorist Terry Herbert who was astounded to find such an enormous hoard – possibly the greatest treasure discovery in its category! Terry Herbert was shocked and excited at their discovery.
