We believe a luxury holiday means travelling light. At Acorn Lodge, we have curated a comprehensive inventory of essentials and treats so you don’t have to fill your boot with basics. From the first cup of coffee to the firewood for the evening, we’ve got you covered.
The Caffeine Fix: An eco-friendly ‘Grind’ Coffee Machine with milk frother and a supply of compostable pods.
The Tea Run: A selection of premium tea bags (Original, Decaf, and Fruit options) plus sugar sachets to get you started.
Fresh Supplies: 4 Pints of semi-skimmed milk in the fridge ready for your arrival.
The Treat: A large, fresh Welcome Cake baked by our favourite local bakery to kickstart the celebration.
Spa & Bathroom Luxuries
Spa Comforts: Every adult guest is provided with a large bath towel, hand towel, luxury bathrobe, and disposable slippers—perfect for the walk to the Hot Tub.
Wellness Towels: Extra towels specifically provided for use with the Hot Tub and Gym.
Styling: Hairdryers and heat-proof mats provided in every bedroom (no need to queue for a mirror!).
Eco-Toiletries: All bathrooms feature dispensers filled with Maitri luxury hair and body wash and conditioner.
The “Just in Case” Basket: A thoughtful selection of spare eco-friendly toiletries and hygiene essentials, just in case you forgot something.
Household essentials
Kitchen Basics: Eco-friendly dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, scourers, and J-cloths.
Laundry: Eco-friendly non-bio washing powder and pegs for the washing line.
Paper Goods: Kitchen roll and an unlimited supply of toilet roll (you will never need to buy more).
Food Prep: Kitchen foil, cling film, and a fully stocked cleaning caddy.
Dining: Tablecloths provided for the large dining table (whether set for 12 or extended to 16).
Hygiene: Hand sanitiser and hand soap in all shared toilets.
Seasonal & Activity Supplies
Winter Warmth: During Autumn and Winter, we provide unlimited logs, kindling, and natural firelighters for the log-burning stove.
Summer Dining: In Spring and Summer, we supply enough charcoal and firelighters for at least one substantial feast on our Concrete BBQ.
Information Guides: Comprehensive printed guides are available in the house for Accessibility, Dog Rules, and Local Recommendations.
Festive Touches: If you are staying during Christmas, Halloween, or Easter, the house will be dressed with tasteful seasonal decorations.
